grade point system

so how does the point system work at ucla? is it just, all b's = 3 and all a's = 4, or do they differentiate between a-, a, and a+?

thanks for your help!

They do differentiate btwn + and -. I can't tell you off the top of my head whats what but they're slightly different all except for A and A+ which are both 4.0...

A+ = 4.00 (4.33 for law school admissions)
A = 4.00
A- = 3.67
B+ = 3.33
B = 3.00
B- = 2.67
C+ = 2.33
C = 2.00
C- = 1.67
D = 1.00
F = 0.00

thanks flopsy! :)

flopsy, do you know if this grading system is true of all UC's?

No. As far as I know, UCB also has the same grading system, but I don't know anything about the grading systems of the other UCs... :rolleyes:

It's about the same at UCSD.
