UCLA grading system

what is UCLA's grading system like? do you get "+" and "-" on your final transcript, or its just the grade? and do you get +.3 points for "+" and -.3 for a "-"? feedback would be greatly appricated, thank you.

i think its...
4.0 for an A or an A+
3.7 for an A-
3.3 or 3.4 for a B+
3.0 for a B

and so on.. so yes they do count +'s and -'s

thanks for the quick reply, i really appreciate it.

It's 3.3 for B+

The A+s come in handy when applying to law school, although I'm not sure about anything else- maybe some grad school admissions committees like to see them in one or two of your classes for your intended subject of study. Anyway, the +s mean nothing within the system itself, as in what UCLA considers your grade to be. To them, an A and an A+ are the same thing with respect to GPA calculation.

A+ = 4.0 (4.3 for law school GPA)
A = 4.0
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0
B- = 2.7
C+ = 2.3
C = 2.0
C- = 1.7
D = 1.0
F = 0.0

Whoops, my last post made it seem like I mean all +s, where i know that I was only referring to the A+. Flopsy's above list is right, I do believe.
