<p>Um, hi. A few days ago, my teacher told the class, kind of in passing, that in addition to GPAs, the individual grade points will be sent to colleges as well for the admissions process. This is horrible for me because while my GPA is at 4.0, some of my grade points are absolutely horrible. Do they actually both matter? I tried Googling but that didn't help. Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>What do you mean individual grade points? You mean individual grades? Yes they will. You will self-report all your official grades on your college applications and then your school will send in the official transcripts of your grades. If your GPA is 4.0, your (semester/quarter …) grades cannot be that bad or you wouldn’t have a 4.0 unless that is heavily weighted…</p>
