Hey guys, how does Upenn view an upward trend grade? And how do they calculate GPA?
I kind of got really screwed over this year with bad teachers in all of my classes.
I got 1 B+ (2nd sem) freshmen year in Algebra 2 (H), the only honors class that year.
This year,
Im taking
-English 10 Honors (I got worst teacher)
-PreCalculus Honors (harder than AP Calc BC at my school)
-Chemistry Honors (hard, but good teacher)
-AP Computer Science (easy, and okay teacher)
-French 2
-Advanced Choir
The thing, is I’m gonna get a C in Precalc Honors this year, and probably a B+ in english 10 honors. Im worried that my downward trend in math (A/B+/C) looks really bad. If I pull my act together and get A’s for the rest of high shool, will it look good for UPenn as an upward trend?
I will be taking Junior year:
-CP English 11
-US history Honors
-AP Calculus BC
-AP Chemistry
-Advanced CHoir
-French 3
Senior Year:
-CP English 12
-AP Gov
-AP Stats
-Human Physiology
-AP French
-Advanced Choir
It may look like im taking few AP and honors classes, but Precalculus Honors (10th ) is notoriously difficult and AP Calc and AP Chem are considered hardest AP classes in school, and AP French (12th) is considered to be pretty hard too.
