Hi all,
I am looking to transfer to schools for Fall 2017, in specific, the University of Michigan. However, I am a little nervous about my grade trend.
Fall Quarter 2015-2016: 2.6 Chem=C, Bio=C, Honors Class=A
Winter Quarter 2015-2016: 3.0 Bio=B-, Chem=W, Psych=B+, Honors class=B+
Spring Quarter 2015-2016:4.0 Stats=A , Psych=A, Human Development=A, Honors Philosophy= A
Summer Quarter 2015-2016: 4.0 (only took one class) Research Methods=A
Fall Quarter 2016-2017: 3.95 or 4.0 (haven’t gotten two grades back yet) Honors History=A-, Intro to databases=A, applied networks and security=A, Intro to web computing= A
This puts me at a 3.5 GPA cumulative. I tried to explain in the additional info section why I started out poorly. Do you think my grades from the first two quarters are really going to affect me? I changed my major from pre med to computer science with a minor in psych. I would like to major in cognitive science at Umich as it combines both fields and almost all my classes pertaining to this field I have gotten A’s in.
