in my school district, if ur in honors for 8th grade, then math (which is Math A, a NY regents course), science (earth science), and foreign language all go on the transcript since in my school, those classes are usually taken in 9th grade, but some ppl are smart and can take it in 8th grade. i did, and i saw an unofficial copy of my transcript like 2 years ago

im in 11th, btw

Actually, in 7th & 8th grades I took Alg I & II and physical science, so technically 8th grade did sort of count for high school credit. I guess its a district thing.

.-_-.

at my school... u can get placement for work done in middle school but not credit and the grades aren't reported (though i kind of wish they were...)...

IB FIZZZZIX -- 98%
Discrete Math -- 101%
Differential Eqns -- 77% (stupid sign errors, and I forgot to divide through by the coefficient of y' when finding an integrating factor for a first-order eqn. and our grade is purely tests. so it should go way up when I start checking my work.)

And this is my 100th post =P

haha... wow this thread has developed quickly, its only been a few days.

So I am a sophomore and plan to get my B+s up.... so yea, I don't know what else to comment on...

Yeah so I think that's pretty awesome. I love how everyone's coming here to brag...

how are u guys gettin so good grades?

i hae an 83 in one of my HONORS classes

Wow silentsailor, do you get extra credit in AP Bio or AP Calc? At my school, it is nearly impossible to get a 100 in an AP class. I know a person that has a 98% in APUSH, and that is amazing to me lol.

Well, the only quality AP bio teacher at my school left a year ago, so we're stuck with a new one who is really teaching the thing on a Bio I level...and since I self-studied through the AP curriculum frosh year it's pretty much a complete waste of time. Calc is the same way. I definitely think it should be much more difficult to get 100% in an AP - makes things more interesting - so consider yourself lucky, because you're learning more ;)

(Oh and APUSH is a different story entirely. Ouccch.)

My grades are being random. All A's in my AP/Honors classes, and C/B's in my "blow-off" academic classes. Lol. At least those C/B's are easy to pull up, especially since most of those classes haven't even had the second test yet, and barely have any pts -.-.

My grades are also random. I have an A in APUSH and my honors classes, but a B+ in Physics.
