Just wait, he'll put them up eventually.

still waiting on one of mine too...lazy bum

Is it possible for a grade to be changed if I am able to convince a professor that a test was mis-graded? Or is are the grades untouchable after winter quarter begins?

I received an I for PHILOSOPHY 6. Does anyone else have a problem with this too or did they already receive their grades or know anyone who received their grades? (please ask around...) Is it because they couldn't find my final and/or they're investigating academic dishonesty or clerical error happened!? Or is the grade just not updated yet so myUCLA has an I for incomplete?

Also on URSA, it's just a blank for my grade...***!?

Dealing with Special Circumstances
Incomplete (I) Grades
Faculty members may assign an “I” grade when a student’s work is of passing quality but is incomplete for a good reason, such as illness. Instructors should not assign an “I” without talking to the student about the course to make sure that the student is in fact planning on finishing the coursework rather than simply taking a failing grade. A grade of I means that only a small portion of the work of the course—a term paper, a lab experiment, or an examination—remains to be finished. The work must be completed by the end of the next quarter in which the student is registered or the “I” will lapse to an “F”, “NP”, or “U.” The student should not enroll in the course for a second time while making up the Incomplete. When giving an Incomplete, the faculty member accepts the responsibility for making it possible for the student to make up the work during the next quarter. An instructor who will not be on campus during that quarter should make arrangements for administration of the process and alert the department chair who will authorize the final grade. The dean of the student’s College or school may extend the time for completion of incomplete work in extenuating circumstances (Divisional Senate Regulation A-309B). To record completion of the course and final grade, an instructor must send a UCLA Report of Academic Revision form, available in each department, to the Registrar’s Office. Once the grade is received by the Registrar’s Office, a confirmation is issued to the department and/or instructor. Faculty members should not give the form to the student to file.

Anyone have any experience with this? I'm totally freaking out because I've never encountered this before... =[=[=[=[

Philosophy 6 with AJ Julius? I have that class but my grade shows up fine. Email the professor about it.

However URSA for me is still blank too (they haven't finalized it yet). But it shows up fine in MyUCLA for me. Hopefully when it's finalized in URSA they'll fix it for you. If not, contact the professor.

i think u can change your grade if u see an error on the test, prof regrades, and the grade turns out differently... i've never done that but plan to do so when i get back!

i got a "NR" on mine.
what does that mean?

I e-mailed my TA just in case since I'm anxious about what I got in the class.

I noticed the letter grades in ursa a few weeks ago, but the grade points haven't yet come up...and they still aren't up, thus my gpa and cumulative unites for this Q aren't up either. any reasons for this discrepancy?

because it says so right below the grades list...

The GPA is normally calculated two weeks after finals: therefore, while grades may be shown, the most current GPA may not yet be available. As soon as the GPA is calculated, it will appear on this page. The GPA is the grade point average for graded UC courses. The Total Units is the sum of the units for graded UC courses, courses taken P/NP, courses taken S/U and non-UC courses.

Just continue to wait ... they should be updated very soon.

i've gotten NR before -- grade was not reported. when i got it, twas because there was this huge lag time the lingusitics dept in submitting my grade. anyway theycleared it up and i got my real grade.so, just wait it out . shoudl be fine in a few weeks max

theres no difference. the uc scholls all use the same routing server for student id's.
