I'm thinking of doing pre-med with a studio art major, so most of my gpa will obviously depend on studio classes. I'm pretty decent artistically but I'm not sure how professors grade in these kinds of classes since it's all pretty subjective, isn't it?
Thanks for any help :)

It may be subjective, or it may not be subjective. Some schools have made determined efforts to remove as much subjectivity as possible, but there may still be wild fluctuations within the school or within departments. What is important is that the professor clearly articulates the goals of each assignment and the basis upon which it will be graded. Also- remember that even if the grade is “subjective” presumably the professor has had years of experience and professional practice - and that they are subject matter experts.
