Graduate School Admissions for BME and CHEME

Hey, so I’m currently a 4th year student from Georgia Tech. I’ll be earning my Bachelor’s in BME with a 3.6 GPA and have been applying to Ph.D. programs for both BME and CHEME (basically have most of my apps set and done at this point). My GRE scores are in the 76th percentile for Verbal and Quant, and 86th percentile for writing. I know it’s too late to really reconsider, but I was kind of just wondering how I stand as an overall applicant. I have about 2 years in research experience, in a microfluidics and AFM imaging lab in the Bioengineering Department, and now in a computational biology lab that deals with protein imaging via EM. My current PI has written me a fantastic Rec letter, and 2 good letters from other professors. I’ve also been heavily involved in campus and have served as a TA for two classes in the BMED department. I’m from Virginia and have applied to the following programs:

Duke BME
GT BME
UVA BME/CHEME
Vanderbilt BME/CHEME
VCU BME

I know that top-tier schools are always difficult to get into, but I was wondering how I stand just as an overall applicant. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
