Graduate school - chance me?

I'm applying to biomedical engineering programs at Johns Hopkins, Duke, GA Tech, and other top programs.

I was at a small liberal arts school studying math and chemistry, came out with a 4.0 GPA and transferred to GA Tech my junior year, where I am now considered a sophomore in biomedical engineering.

I have 2 previous summers of research in biophysics, a semester of organic chem research, and I'm currently working on biomedical research from now until I graduate in two years. I assume I'll have a decent GPA out of GA Tech, (above 3.5).

I did drop a class, however, and will receive a W on my transcript. It was a chemical engineering process design class and I dropped it because I switched majors to BME and it would have been a waste of time. Should I pick this class up again or does it matter?

Thanks!
