<p>Just posting this on the outside chance someone who is familar with this school at Penn and general Penn can give some ideas as to how good this school is...spec looking for degree in higher ed ( MS)/ the area ( safety?? she is a runner)..My daughter has accepted, and am hoping this is the right choice as opposed to continuing on at BC for MA

<p>I was accepted to the literacy program and I’m really excited! 
While visiting I found the Penn GSE students and faculty to be extremely friendly, helpful and approachable. </p>
<p>I cannot say much about the classes yet but I did extensive research on grad schools for education. Penn is one of the best schools for education. As far as running, I met with a current student who is a runner. She says there is a trail that many students (Penn, Drexel, etc.) frequent and she runs often. </p>
<p>I could update you in late May when I start summer courses.</p>
