Do any UVA undergraduate engineers get accepted into high quality graduate programs? i.e. MIT, Carnegie Mellon, caltech, berkeley, etc?

sorry for jackin this thread, but I was jw the same thing bout business and law graduate schools. Tech prob has a better engineering program i think.

Yes. UVA is a top 30 engineering school. UVA is a top public school. People do great things, engineering or not, after college whether it be in the job sector or in grad school placement. It's up to you and your grades on where you end up, but the sky is the limit.

no worries kaye93, im interested in ur question too

does anyone have any specific examples of friends going to top grad programs, business or engineering. i understand anything is possible, i was wondering if any1 had any more insight

Biomed is top 10 actually.

Well in Engineering they go to all over. From MIT to CMU to UPitt etc. etc. However, many just go on to their career because they want that more than graduate school. You can always do graduate school later. As for business schools, I think many just go onto jobs also.
