Graduating early

Do top med schools look down upon students that graduated in 3 years even if they performed well and have a good mcat score?

They'll look down on the fact you will only have 2 years of grades when you apply. They'll look down on the fact you only have 2/3's as much EC's as everyone else. They'll look down on the fact you'll be 1-2 years younger than you're supposed to be.

All of these problems can be solved if you take a year off after graduating.

bump...anyone else's input?

The problem is that your MCAT score has to be high enough( whatever that means) to make up for the early graduation. All else being equal, it is not advisable.

You don't need any more input after NCG posts.

^ um, yes I do.

thank you norcal and student14.

NCG's post is it, it's the end all, be all, of this discussion. Anything more that I could say would simply be saying the exact same thing in many, many, many more words (I tend to be extremely verbose).

I'm not asking for more input. Input from 2 people was fine.

go study abroad for a year
