I'm sure people here on CC have encountered or heard about intellectually precocious kids. These kids and their families usually have to confront the question- do you go to school with your intellectual peers or with your chronological/social/psychological peers?

This family seems to have solved it nicely- the kid attended high school and college at the same time, graduating from college a month before graduating from high school.

Great story. I wonder if Princeton will allow him to live in a residential college with freshmen his age. An undergraduate milieu with a graduate academic program might be the ideal mix for him.

Love this story! Loving and sensitive adults have worked together. Somehow, the typical HS technicalities (if they existed) have been smoothed over.

This seems to have been about the kid. Fantastic.

Seems to be one of those rare stories where the parents facilitated the child’s natural abilities but were not the moving forces pushing the kid. Nice ending.
