<p>How exactly does paying for Granville Towers work. Is it the same as any other residence hall at UNC. Do Scholarships/loans cover the cost of the room and board at Granville Towers? just wondering because there is a separate application for the towers.</p>

<p>Look in the archived pages here because there have been plenty of threads about the pros and cons of living in Granville through the years.</p>
<p>I contacted the business office about this the other day. I was told that Granville is considered off campus housing and that merit scholarship money cannot be applied to Granville via the University. Some scholarships specify what it must be used for and some do not. The woman in the business office told me that if scholarship funds were sent directly to the university and they exceeded the amount owed for that semester the difference would be refunded to the student.</p>
