I was accepted into the Graphic Design Programs at both BU and Syracuse.

I know Syracuse's Graphic Design program is very strong but does anyone know anything about the program at BU?

I am having trouble deciding what school to choose.. I really liked the program at Syracuse but I like BU's location much better. BU is also less expensive for me to attend, I just don't want to be stuck in a mediocre program if I decide to go there..

Are you kidding?Take Syracuse. Whether you take graphic design in the NewHouse school, which has a very strong reputation, or through their school of Visual Arts, which might have an even stronger reputation than NewHouse, you can’t go wrong. I have never heard anyone rave about the graphic design program at Boston University.

Yes, I know that Syracuse’s program is better without a doubt, but is the program at BU poor?

I know they are both good schools, but is my career as a graphic designer doomed if i pick an inadequate program? It seems Boston has many internship opportunities and the city is a big benefit…

plus a lot of graphic designers say its more about who you know and your portfolio/internships than where you went to school.
