You can get calculators cheaply on eBay, just buy a TI-84 on eBay.

Colleges prefer Math Level 2.

Colleges don’t prefer one over the other, because it’s not like the Math 2 is harder. I got a 700 on the Math 1 and then an 800 on the Math 2. Some people decide to take both and send both in, but colleges usually prefer it if you take either math, and then one science.

Usually it’s better to go straight onto Math II. Even if it requires waiting a couple months.

Also, you can find used calculators on eBay or Craigslist. You may also want to check if there are any used TI-NSpires or CAS/CX calculators. In my opinion those are far better than the 84.

I think Top colleges prefer Math II.

For Math II, you can plug a lot of the answers into a graphing calculator like the TI-84.
