By the way, UCLA doesn't look like an Ivy League school. The buildings are generally much newer. UCLA was founded in 1919. Most Ivy League schools were around in the 1700's. Huge difference. The weather is for whimps also ;)

Oh tore needs a slap.

I have been to many, many schools...and I would say the more inspiring by far has ben West Point.

UCLA is an incredible campus and in my opinion the best looking of all the UC's and CSU's. It is better looking than USC and about even with Stanford. But I give the nod to UCLA because the area where Stanford is sucks.

West Point? My goodness.

Not good.

Also, Palo Alto is far better than 90% of Southern California. L.A., in general, is a polluted dump. And no, I do not need a slap, thank you.

Palo Alto's gargantuan hills make West LA's hills look like a mesa.

Those aren't Palo Alto's hills..they are Portola Valley's. ;)

And what's not good about West Point. Stellar campus, beautiful location, and incredible history...I was in awe when I trained cadets there for a summer.

And I stand by my recommendation for slapping. In fact, now two; one for socal and one for The Point.
