GRE scoring

Hey guys, I plan to take the gre in about a month and have question about the scoring.

If I were to answer about 20 questions and have about little time for the last few questions. Is it better to guess on the last few questions if the time is about to run out?

Also what kind of score can I expect if I attempt and answer correctly about 20 question in the 45 minutes?
Thanks.

I know that you end up getting penalized more for leaving answers blank, so it’d work in your favor to go ahead and guess on those last few.

I have a different question about the scoring–if you take the GRE twice or multiple times (if I don’t do so well on the first time), do universities look at your highest score, or do they average them out?

no penalty for guessing, so do it.

Well ETS states that some schools average it out while most schools take your highest score.

I suggest you schedule the test so that you have MORE than enough time to review for the test.

Study regularly and if you can’t get the score you want in the Powerprep tests a week before the test, reschedule the test. It will cost 50$ to reschedule but it is better than paying the full cost of the test multiple times.
