Great physics department + language department?

Hey everyone, I'm a junior in high school. I have a pretty good idea of what colleges I want to apply to, but I'm open to new suggestions. The deal is: I plan on majoring in physics in university and I would like a school with a great physics department, but I also have some on-the-side interests that I'd like to pursue. The most prominent among these would be language learning. I have had a passion for learning languages since I was 11. German is my thing - I think I may even minor in it - but I'd like the opportunity to explore my other language interests such as Russian, Mandarin, and Hindi. I want a school with a good, broad language department and an ample amount of study abroad opportunities.

Any suggestions? (Would the Ivies fit this bill? I love MIT and I'm definitely going to apply, but, understandably, the tech schools tend to be underdeveloped in their humanities departments.)

Your flagship U probably has good depts in both areas. How much can your family afford? What is your home state?

UC Berkeley

MIT does have all of the languages you list except for Hindi:

Your flagship state university may have physics and the various languages as well.

University of Minnesota has physics and all of the languages you list, and does not have an especially high list price, even for out of state.

My flagship is UF. My parents can’t afford much, combined salary is about 60-70k, depending on the year, for a family of four (parents + two dependents incl me. I also have two older siblings who occasionally need financial help)
