Not really... actual desis are only about 15 in all 4 years.. only 4 in my year including me... and then there are quite a few abcd's

Kabob and Curry is good when you're dying for indian food and theres nothing else... but it isnt really authentic... theres another place thats better, but a bit further away... taste of india..

Otherwise ILoveBrown has pretty much summed up the good and cheap places to eat..

Little more expensive is probably andreas, karta bar, paragon, shanghai, etc

Also, ben and jerrys and coldstone for ice cream.. so good..

A hint about Kabob and Curry... they usually are pretty mild on the spice, but if you like it spicy, just ask and they'll pile it on.

watercannon: i got the impression from the 'any indians here' thread that there were a lot of us at brown, maybe not i guess

Again, its more abcd's...Theres atleast 20 of them in my batch that i know... im guessing about 100 in all 4 years.. Indians actually from indiavthough is only about 15... But all the international organisations (BRIO, SASA) are pretty much indian.. the few that are there are pretty active in these...

And yeah... kabob and curry is mild on the spice... but even when you ask them to put more its not authentic indian... lol its more americanised indian food...

oh, i was born here so i consider the abcd's as indian also, although i regret thinking so sometimes

Lol theyre indian too actually... Quite a few of them here..
