Greatest Fears

Alright, as the admission process rolls around, we’re all pretty much nervous.

So… if you could name one thing that you fear might keep you from admission to your number one school what would it be? This could be something as mundane as low SAT scores to being a convincted criminal.

I read somewhere that stating our fears out loud, helps us get rid of them. I don’t know if there is any truth to that statement, but there’s no harm in trying.

SAT scores not high enough, bad essay (I don't think it's bad but someone else thinks it is), and not a super high school.

My senior year GPA. I KNOW it's going to kill me, and senior year has barely even started. Life sucks.

Spiders!

Oh wait, that doesn't work. I guess I'll go with bad essays.

My GPA, school, recommendations, essays, scores, activities...oh boy, where's my gun?

Actually I'm a little nervous about my GPA, but outside of that I'm feeling pretty good.

Low SATs, Bombing the last SATIIs, suddenly forgetting how to write/speak/understand English...just the usual....

Sounds like a topic for another college essay prompt..."What is your greatest fear?" (150 words or less) I would have to go with essays as my greatest fear...essays can be the devil...and mine are scrapworthy right now. Good luck to you! Hope you get in to your #1 choice. :)

ECs. ECs. ECs. yikes.

SAT II tests :(

You will never know what the Adcoms are looking for to build the next freshman class, so you worry incessantly over something which you have no control over

the last SAT II chem : (. insert tear --> : ' (
and the essays. I'm so clueless what to write for them = not making the deadline.

Do not worry about getting into college as a fear, all you guys will get in trust me. Worry about when your 27 years old and have to actually look for a real job. AHHH that quarterlife crisis thing might be real?

Essays. November is fast approaching.

Ditto
