Greatest number of AP's in one year!

Woo! Bring it on!

Damn! doesn't anybody care about music, art, theater -- the life affirming activities? The system sucks if you have to devote your entire high school life to dry AP textbook study without ever playing a Vivaldi quartet with your classmates, or drawing a portrait of your lover, or experimenting with lighting gels in improvised Brecht performance. Without music, there'd be no point. The cult of the GPA kills everything that's worth living for.

Oh. well i'm also in varsity chorale and varsity show choir & will be doing a musical as well.

It's completely pointless to spout lists of how many APs kids at other schools are taking. At some schools, 8 APs in one year is not uncommon, while at others, the AP classes are so rigorous (as in workload, not intellect).

Talk to seniors at your school who have taken 3 or 4 APs. Ask them about the workload, etc. I know that at my school, people taking more than 3 APs need to seriously cut back their ECs to make room.
