<p>Anyone know what the greek life is like at TCNJ? I'm particularly interested in what the sororities are like.</p>
<p>There really isn’t much on campus as far as Greek life goes. They keep all the frat houses (which means sororities too) off campus, which means if you’re a freshman you need a ride if you wanna get there. I’m guessing they do that on purpose.</p>
<p>I’ve been involved in greek life here, the greek scene is more prevalent than most people think, a decent amount of people go out to rush for fraternities and sororities, and besides the club sports, the frats throw the most parties so you’ll definitely interact with them in no time. They have rushes in the fall and spring for greek organizations</p>
<p>The greek scene is pretty strong, despite the fact that all the houses are off campus due to the administration.
You want to know about the sororities? Beware, during rush you won’t be able to tell what they are really like; the girls will all act nice and welcoming!
Here are the honest, percieved reputations of the national sororities:</p>
<p>Kappa Delta: popular and pretty, but superficial, materialistic and **<strong><em>y nonetheless. They definitely aren’t the sluttiest, but some of the girls are pretty bad.
Delta Zeta: some girls are really nice, but they are known to be really slutty. I’ve heard of some drug usage too.
Zeta Tau Alpha: This is the one most people want because of looks, but then again, many are generally not very nice or goodhearted people. They are known to choose girls entirely on their money and/or looks. There are a couple nice ones though.
Phi Sigma Sigma: They aren’t really low or high in the rankings, just in the middle. A lot of the girls are really pretty and nice but there are a couple that aren’t. Overall, definitely some of the funnest and funniest girls I’ve met in college even if they aren’t the hottest or easiest to get with.
Delta Phi Epsilon: *</em></strong>*ES. I’ve never met a girl I liked from this one, and many people will tell you the same. Also, they are known for hazing the crap out of their girls.
Theta Phi Alpha: Similar to Phi Sig ranking-wise. Although I would say that there are slightly more unattractive girls here. Still, I hear the sisterhood is pretty strong.
Sigma Sigma Sigma: They’ve been known in the past for being fat, awkward and undesirable (but generally nice). Now, there is a small group of kind-of pretty girls who are the only ones who go to parties. The sisterhood is divided and fights a lot over their changing reputation, which is only changing because the newer ones are becoming very slutty and sleeping around with all the frat guys.</p>
<p>Are these reps still the same? Also, can anyone tell me the average $ dues?</p>
