I’m looking to rush a fraternity this spring semester. I am in my sophomore year. I am just wondering if it is seen as too late to rush, or if me rushing spring instead of fall will affect my chances. I’ll be rushing at Duquesne University, where greek life isn’t a huge thing but it is definitely noticeable on campus. Thanks for any replies!!
Only someone at Duquense can answer this question accurately. At some schools, the answer is absolutely that it has hurt your chances, at others, it means nothing.
Even at a school it might vary by chapter, particularly if one house does a 1 year pledge process (meaning you would only have 1.5 years of active brother status) vs. 1 semester (2 years of active brother status).
