Any incoming students?

Hi I was recently accepted off the waitlist. I was just wondering if you have any tips for incoming preps. I’m also a bit confused on how courses are selected? If math, English, a language, and health are already set, then what electives can we choose? I’m still waiting on registration in the mail. Also, what’s the dress code like for girls? Thank you so much for any help! I really appreciate it.

Congratulations for getting off the waitlist!!!

You have 5 full academic courses: math (placement), English 110, Language (placement), science (physics placement or BIO110), and an elective (history, comp. sci. , art, music, theater, whatever). Then you also have 9th grade PE and Health, and finally, if you want, a music ensemble or lesson program. So I have 9 “courses” in total.

Thank you so much for the congrats!
And thanks for the info about courses too. Are you a current student?
One more question: Can you choose a different elective for each term or are they yearlong?

I am a parent of two current students. The course catalog should be available online. Each elective runs a trimester. You will love Exeter.

@PieLover my kids just signed up for JV teams their incoming Prep year. Tryouts are held the first few days of school. If you do not make the team, they will change you to Prep spaz. My daughter played JV soccer last year and loved it.
