I got a triple at Griffiths Hall and am wondering what kind of view it has haha. Is it possible to get a view of the bay from there? Any other info would be cool.

I am griffiths hall too. I am also curious about it.

south view is a very dreary view of Dwight and the north view is of the courtyard. Griffiths doesn’t face the bay.

Dammit. And I’m also wondering how transfers work into another building or whatever if you don’t like one of your roommates haha?? Not that I’m having this problem… just wondering. Would it be possible to move only that one that you don’t like or would the other two have to move out?

I was in a Griffiths triple room my freshman year at Cal and we had a view of South Berkeley, Oakland, and a bunch of trees. Haha. But if you live on the higher floors (6 and up), you do get a view of the Bay and SF (well, if you situate yourself on the far left-side of your window, that is haha).

Also, don’t worry about not getting along with your roommate/s. I’ve never known anyone who moved out because they didn’t like their roommate/s. Most people stay with their assignments all year round. The only people I’ve known to move out were those who had to leave for financial reasons (apartments are cheaper), more freedom (a lot of rules for dorms; less rules for apartments), or involvement in a fraternity/sorority.
