GS Housing

They called me. A very nice admissions officer called to congratulate me on my acceptance to the University.

khorsani

can you post your stats?

GPA, credits, etc.

Thanks

I got the good the phone call this morning. For those who may not have heard back yet - good luck.

Congrats to all with good news, but now I am very concerned about housing. I received my housing applicant ID number but it seems housing is extremely tight and the best we can hope for is the wait list and temporary quarters until the first or second month of school.

Yes, I have received an ID # and a password for the housing but what happens next? Do they email you if they have found something suitable for you?

Have any new GS students been assigned housing? Please reply.

I think they assign housing on a rolling basis, I would also like to know if any newly admitted GS students have been assigned housing at this point.

I was slightly luckier than Khorsani (congrats, btw): I waited a mere 10 weeks for my acceptance call. And they put me on the wait list for housing - apparently more info (ie. whether I got bumped up into a room or off the list altogether) will be made available by Aug 15.

But they did give me a teeny-weeny scholarship. :)

for all accepted applicants (rambutanhead) what were your stats? SAT score, GPA, Credits Completed, Work Experience, etc.
