Hi guys

I was wondering if i'll have to take an entrance exam to get into a chemistry class at georgia state? I'm currently a in-state transfer student.

Yes, you will have to take a chem exam in order to take Chem 1211 for a science credit. The exam itself is easy. There is about 40 to 45 questions and you have to get 13 correct in order to register for the class. Try to take it early because the earlier you take it, the quicker you can register for it.

thank you so much, do you have any study tips? or sites that could help?

I took AP Chem that so for me it was not that bad. I do recommend to buy cliffnotes chemistry because helped me know what was on the test. It is cheap refresher and is a very good book to have.

awesome thanks!

So you only have to get 13 questions right to register?

Yeah! That was when I took the exam in 2007. It should have how many you need to get right on the exam itself.
