-Red Cross Club member for two years and historian, this club was entirely focussed around volunteering and wellness in the community
-National Honor Society Member for 2 years
-National History Day competition, placed 3rd in my category at the regional level which made me a state alternate
-Attended a Stanford biomedical engineering lecture series for a previous summer

Other notes :
-I think my essays give a pretty full picture of who I am. I covered my diverse music taste, my extroverted personality, debate, my political activism, and why I want to go into global development BME specifically

  • in the additional information section I mentioned that my extended essay topic is Color Theory Across the Films of Wes Anderson

I know GT is more competitive then ever as the EA release date approaches I would just like an understanding of my chances. Thanks all!

Wow, you make me wonder what I’ve doing with my whole life ?. My stats were a lot lower than yours, but granted I was an in state student. Wish you best of luck!!!

Your stats seem impressive. However, as a current OOS Georgia Tech BME student, I think you always need to have some doubt of whether you are getting in or not. As such, please exercise caution. Have a good day!

If you’re OOS, does it help if you apply to the Business Program, as opposed to one of the sciences or engineering?
