<p>The prompt is "briefly discuss a current global issue, indicating why you consider it important and what you suggest should be done to deal with it"</p>
<p>This prompt requires students to do a fair amount of research. I don't see a HS student, especially myself, writing about a global issue without googling anything. Should I include an APA reference page, or would that be overkill? When I read other students' essays online they didn't even have mentions of their sources in the text itself, much less reference pages. Isn't that plagiarism? And bad writing practice? </p>
<p>Am I missing the point here or... idk I might just be freaking out about this essay. Opinions, anyone?</p>
