guest policy

I am living in NYU dorms over the summer and my friends/boyfriend are excited to stay at my single (alumni). Is NYU strict about overnight guests? Is it going to be an issue if my boyfriend or friends want to stay overnight??

Nope just sign them in because they need guest passes. Security at the door is the most strict because since you’re in NYC, they don’t want random people coming in.

what if they want to stay multiple nights? my boyfriend lives on long island so he may come frequently

dosent matter keep signing em in
if theres a limit theyd tell you, im pretty sure this stuff is googleable but idk off the top of my head what the limit is (there is one afaik)

There’s technically a 3 consecutive night stay limit/6 night limit per month.

So, your boyfriend can only stay for 3 consecutive nights (or less) AND can only stay 6 nights per month – they don’t always enforce this rule, but if your roommate doesn’t want your boyfriend there all the time, they may enforce it.
