Guests @ SHA?

<p>I have the 18th to decide whether or not I should cancel my contract (without penalty, they extended the date)… And I’ve realized it’s really expensive. About $842 for single occupancy. But a couple things I’m having problems with are I don’t know much about it… Is $842 worth it? Am I able to bring “guests” over to apartment since I’ll have my own room? How’s the privacy? $842/month, that’s with no meal plan. Is it possible for me to get a better apartment for about that or less with more freedom, or prefably even a studio?</p>

<p>18th is approaching. I’d really like any input.</p>

<p>Also, having second doubts, is because it’s all do random. I don’t know who I’ll be roomed with, which apartment complex. Help? </p>

<p>You’ll have to talk it over with your apartment-mates on whether you can bring guests over, but I’m sure they’ll let you. $842 is about average price for a studio/1 bedroom in Davis if you were to go out and rent an apartment of your own, I think (and some apartments charge even more than that for a studio–about $1000). Privacy depends on your apartment-mates. You’ll have privacy in your own room, of course, but everywhere else depends on who your apartment-mates are. They could be respectful of your privacy or they could be the kind of people who like to invade privacy.</p>
