Like Fsu-uf has said, even a half hour a day would be good. Do something right after you wake up (run, workout tape, etc..), not only will it be good for you physically but you will go into your day feeling more energized and focused.

fat people motivate me to diet and go to the gym.

you should definitely start jogging/walking 30 minutes every day and watch what you eat. Like people said in this thread, its much easier to lose weight while your young and your metabolism is good.

in a 7-day week, is it better to have thirty minutes of jogging everyday or one hour of extensive martial arts (including push ups, sit ups, running sometimes, stretching, slashing(?), etc) three times a week?

My martial arts teacher said gave us a chart and it showed martial arts as burning the most calories in an hour (Maybe it was 2nd). However, not all my classes are intense with tons of push-ups, sit-ups, stretching, and martial arts stuff. Tuesdays for example are a small black belt class and we usually do only a bit of intense stuff and spend most of that class working on harder stuff that's tricky and hard to teach to large group (Usually around 4-5 of us). So make sure all your classes in the week are at that high intensity (Which imo kinda sucks since I definitely learn the most useful stuff in the smaller, easier class. Doing hundreds of kicks/punches just isn't nearly as useful.) But martial arts at high intensity supposedly burns ~800 calories in an hour whereas running is ~400 or 450 (Forget which). So for 30 mins that's about ~200-225 calories. Martial arts does more if those classes are always at that high intensity, however, it's a different kind of fitness. But running 30 mins isn't the best exercise or running program either. It's best to do like 45 mins to an hour 5-6 days per week. Starting out 30 mins is okay, but eventually you'll build up to 45 mins then 1 hour.

Start with 30 min 5 days a week of some kind of cardio (elliptical machine, running, swimming, etc) and slowly build up to 45-60 min 6 times a week. Three times a week of martial arts is not enough, it has to be at least 4-5 times a week, preferably 6

Running for an hour at 6 mph is over 600 calories, mikey.

If she was DD, and had a bullseye on her butt, which I can notice from a mile away then maybe, but chubby guys score way more than chubby girl's, well at least the ones I know

I think it's the opposite...chubby girls can play the big boob card, but it doesn't quite work for chubby guys ;).

the only way id date a fat girl is if i was fat

I'm more attracted to big, tall, muscular guys with a little extra chub than skinny guys. I love football players :) lol but I find fat girls completely unattractive... but I'm a girl

Chubby guys can play the big boob card too... If they have Kleinfelter's Syndrome...

^^ Haha, I remember back in 10th Bio when we learned about that some kid called that the girly-man syndrome.

^^^^^HAHAHHAHAH, OMG lol I just remembered!

that's really mean! i know a kid who has that and he had an operation, all the kids made fun of him, it didn't help that he had a rat tail though. anyways...this is off topic, but what about guys and really short girls?

Well, I am 5'11 and for me any girl less than 5'0 is short and I probably would not be interested because I am a "big" guy and I play football and stuff and the girl would probably look like my sister if she was less than 5'0 tall.

umm in response to the intial question: I have a friend who isn't fat by anymeans (and is actually borderline average/thin now) and has a really really really stocky build. In order to maintain her figure, she eats the exac t same thing every day: for breakfast: 1 hard boiled egg lunch: 1/2 of one orange dinner:.. something like the others, i can't remember. Anyway, this may seem a little extreme to you, but to her being attractive and thin is more pleasurable than eating lots and a variety of foods.

Anyway, I was just clicking through the high school forum, hope this helps

It's hard to kiss boys who are like a foot taller than me.
