I think us basketball players out rank hockey players

Hoke, I thought you lived in Maine...

Live in, yes. From, no.

Hoke, please do not take any unsolicited advice! you don't what these people have been smoking.

You know Colby College in Waterville? My uncle teaches there. It's a nice liberal arts school.

I have no idea WHERE it is. I've heard of it. I try to disassociate myself with this state and it's people as much as possible. One year left and I'm outta here!!!

It's seriously in the middle of nowhere. I think I'd shoot myself--nothing to do except sit in the unbearable cold and go to Wal-mart..is Massachusetts (specifically Boston) warmer than Maine?

Well, everything in this state is in the middle of nowhere. A bigcity kid like myself has nothing to do but sit and twiddle his thumbs because he doesn't like to go "muddin" and "truckin" with the redneck kids.

Boston is a BIT warmer than Maine, not much at all really.

Is Maine really just a little colder than Boston? How much snow do you get?

Depends. LAST winter, we got walloped. I'd say we had about 6 storms with 8+ inches of snow This winter it was not so bad. Maybe 3 storms with 8+. Boston is usually close to the same really. They may get less snow, but it's still as cold.

Is the average winter temp around 25 or lower?

Uggh. I've wanted to live there since I was like 9..but I'm acclimated to the Southern weather now..I don't know if I could handle the winter..

Yes, lablondie and I LOVE it.

Leah, how do you deal with the heat. Anything above 80 and I'm sweating like a dog.

What is snow. Don't know about that stuff where I'm from

I'm w/ Hoke 100%.

25!?! they usually shut down our school for fear of an ice storm when it gets a little below 40

I loooove the heat.

Can't stand cold..even though I'm constantly cold. My friend told me I live in a perpetual state of winter lol

The only time they shut our school down for cold(massachusetts!!!!!) was when it was -20 outside with windchills of -45. The weather people were fear mongers who said you would literally die if you stepped outside. I was outside shoveling in my t-shirt.

Yeah, that's the same here Hoke, except I think our numbers are a tiny but lower. -30 and -50 maybe? But you also said Mass...

8 inches of snow and there would probably be no school for a week.
