GW BA/MD Early Decision?

Hi guys, I had 2 questions about GW's BA/MD program:

1) If I apply ED, is it possible for me to not get in the BA/MD program, but still get in GW and then have to attend GW? In other words, does applying ED cease to be binding if I don't get into the BA/MD program? (I would like to go to GW if I'm in the BA/MD program but I do not want to attend there otherwise)

2) As we all know, applying ED gives you a better chance of getting into GW. But does applying ED also give you a better chance of getting in the BA/MD program? In other words, is the increased chance of getting in only apply to getting in to GW, or is there also an increased chance of getting into the BA/MD program?

Thanks so much!
Please reply asap :D

No, I’ve emailed them before about this, they say ED has no relation with the program, it is evaluated separately and goes with RD pool.

aight thanks so much man!

Don’t apply to GW ED for better chances at their BS/MD program, it will not help. More than likely if you’re anything like the average applicant to multiple BS/MD programs you’re a much stronger candidate than GW’s general applicant pool, and you’d get in easily ED to GW and be binded to attend their undergrad no matter the results of your other applications.
