GW- honors residential?

So i got into the honors program at GW. I'm also in the business school
i have the option to live in the honors residential community.
what do you think?
if there anyone with information please let me know how different it is from the regular dorms and what advantages / disadvantages there are for living there!

thanks :)

How did you find out you were in the honors program?

Did you get your admit packet already? If so, where do you live?

I’m thinking I got into the honors program (I got the 30k Board of Trustees scholarship), too and I would definitely dorm in the honors residences!

i found out in my packet, which i got i think like 3 or 4 days ago
also, i live in nj

:)

and congrats on the scholarship!

I got into the Honors program but haven’t decided if I’m going to GW yet. If I do, then I plan on applying to live in the honors dorm…that way I could go to Thurston for parties/social scene when I wanted to, but could also study when I wanted to by staying in my own dorm. Plus I looked up the location of the honors dorm in relation to Thurston on a campus map and it looks as though it’s only about a block and a half away–not bad!

true! sounds good
thats what i was thinking, even though im not a study-er at all, maybe itll force me to concentrate haha

Got into honors!

It’s about 50/50 that I will be attending GWU, and if I do, I will definitely be joining you guys in the honors residential dorms!
