GW vs UIUC vs UM for engineering

<p>Hi, i would like to have some opinions about these universities. I would like to major in biomedical/bioengineering.
I have been accepted at GW for BME.
I have however not directly been accepted into the engineering school at UIUC and UM college park, i'll have to transfer to the school of engineering in my sophomore year.
Would it be better for me to go directly into the engineering school at GW or to transfer out from the school of LSA at UIUC and UM in my sophomore year?</p>

<p>You can transfer into ENG at UIUC after ur first semester if you really want to.</p>

<p>Transferring into UIUC's engineering school is not as bad as trying to transfer into the business school. Engineer students drop like flies after freshman year (not really but there are definitely spots available).</p>
