If a student did not attend CI how do they request the GWorld card?
@HappyFace2018 I’m not sure, but you can call the GWorld Card Office at 202-994-1795 and ask. I think you’ll need it prior to move-in, so you might have to stop by the office the Friday before move-in (just a guess). Keep us posted- I’m curious as well.
@NHuffer Thank you so much. I did call the GWorld Card Office today and they were completely swamped. The young man advised that the GWorld card should be obtained 30 days prior to checking in to the dorm and she could only get the card in person.
When I advised that she didn’t attend CI, we live in the mid-West and would be traveling in on 8/26 he asked “how early can you get here on 8/26 ma’am”. He was such a sweetheart when he said “ma’am, the office opens at 8:30am on 8/26…I suggest you bring your daughter at 8:00am to be first in line.”
We’ve decided to make the 10 hour drive on 8/25 so we can be there on 8/26 at 8:00am LOL!
We are so flipping excited! We will get her GWorld Card and be able to see her room before actually taking her things to the room on 8/27. At least we can spend more time with her…she’s our only child and this is really hard (we keep that part a secret)
