Hey have you guys thought about what dorms you want to live in? I heard thurston is the craziest one l, which I like the best, and there are some boring ones on Mount Vernon. Also, anyone thinking about Greek life?
I’m looking at American and George Mason, but GW would be so much better. I want to live in Thurston, I heard it’s a lot of fun but you can still get work done. I’ll probably do Greek life as well, but maybe not until sophomore year.
Are you thinking about College Republicans too? I saw you mention something about republicanism

haha i am joining College Democrats- i am very much a leftist. And I haven’t even thought about dorms yet but i know that i wont be doing greek like. btw did we all apply for foggy bottom?
I’m not even familiar about college democrats or republicans, what’s that? I’d totally live in Thurston and a lot of the engineers live there
College Dems and Reps are clubs that coordinate volunteers, host debates, other events and work with local politicians. Each club is different depending on the school, but GW’s groups are extremely active, so if you’re interested in politics I would recommend it! I chair a high school young republicans at my school and we work a lot with college republicans, and I’d say it’s a pretty cool opportunity.
I will definitely be in the College Dems. I was hoping to live in the honors dorms but I don’t really see that happening. So probably any dorm in foggy bottom would be my choice.
by When do you guys think we’ll find out? I had a dream about the 14th lol
and apparently we don’t get to decide our dorms till after regular decision- they changed it this year- so we dont get first dibs even if we make it in ED
I haven’t even looked into the dorms yet except knowing there are two campuses that have dorms! I don’t wanna get myself too excited haha!
That probably wasn’t a bad idea lol. I’ve looked into so many different things and now I’m overly excited so if I don’t get in it’ll make it so much worse
