Hey guys, I am a current student at GW, Class of 2019 and I just wanted to tell all of you while it feels like it will take forever, it actually flies by. I applied ED 1 two years ago and it felt like hell then. Just distract yourselves and remember that even if you don’t get in, it doesn’t diminish you. I can barely wait any longer. It’s killing me. I’m in DC this weekend and it’s going to take so much self-restraint not to just walk into the admissions building and ask them for my result.

@zz213121 I have a 3.95 UW, applying test optional, and interned twice at my City Hall, once for my Councilmember, and currently for the Mayor. I’m applying to major in Political Science w/Public Policy focus so I can go into municipal politics. Good luck!
Hey, I don’t know if @zz213121 was asking the current students or students who have applied this year, but I can share my stats the year I applied (2014). My GPA: 3.1 UW, 28 ACT, and I interned in a law office before I graduated. Hope this helps!

I am bored writing my 20 page term paper at GW right now and looked at the date remembering this was about the time I was accepted last year so I decided to check on this years ED forum. You guys are def a smaller group this year as we had 42 pages on our college confidental ED 1 forum but its funny to see you gaming out the stats and dates like we did. Anyway good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
I applied ED to GW and I was also wondering when the results come out! I heard they have always been released on Fridays so they will most likely be released the 16th or the 23rd this year. Hopefully the 16th because the 23rd sounds way too close to the holidays ahah Last year they were released on the 19th and the year before that on the 18th (according to other college confidential forums). If you guys know anything let me know! Good luck!
