@kenzielouwho Can you provide the information regarding a specific housing deposit amount and is this in addition to the $800 deposit already paid?
@HappyFace2018 @GWdreamteam1998 I thought/believe there is only one deposit for $800 that they’re combined. I hope that’s how it is because that’s all I paid 
My daughter got her financial aid package today and has decided to attend GW. Thanks everyone for the information on this thread. Now to figure out dates and book flights!
@kenzielouwho Yes, I believe there is only one deposit of $800. My daughter and her five roommates have signed their housing contract and none mentioned an additional deposit. Your earlier post made me think there was an additional housing deposit in addition to the enrollment deposit.
@Ivanne Thank God!! I’m so happy for you guys and very proud of her!! We got a great hotel rate in Falls Church, VA at a Marriott (through Expedia) for August ($72 a night) and October ($99 a night). GW’s website has some great hotels but they are super expensive and don’t tell you about the whopping parking expense. If you don’t have friends/family in the area, I suggest staying in VA. We stayed in Fort Belvior (Alexandria) when we visited). Our daughter won’t be able to attend a CI session because she’ll be working as Christian camp counselor out of town (she’s already meet with her University Honors Program advisor regarding her schedule and 4 year plan).
I feel like the Waitlist is over with, like they all ready picked the applicants they wanted…

If you are still on the waitlist-don’t give up! I think emailing and calling to let them know you are still interested is a good idea!
@HappyFace2018 my application doesn’t say that there is aid. What did you tell the office? They said something about fileing the tax? But they have both FAFSA and CSS
@GWdreamteam1998 call the financial aid office they don’t participate in the idoc system so we had to submit our W-2s through a special email that they provided. Also they may be able to escalate your financial aid package

@HappyFace2018 ya and it says there isn’t anything. @ivanne do you remember the email? i called and wrote down the email but i think i misheard something because it would defer the address
@GWdreamteam1998 the email is finaid_docs@gwu.edu Also, somewhere in the portal is showed the missing documents. We had to click on different tabs. I hope this helps! Did they give you a date you need to decide by?
