There is definitely still a chance for some wait listed applicants. My son got a call from admissions this afternoon asking if he was still interested in GWU. He is happily committed to another school at this point so declined further consideration. They asked him if he wanted to remain on the WL, but I think that most who get calls at this point will be excepted. Best of luck to all still interested…

For those that were accepted when did your status change from under review to accepted? Was it within the day? during business hours? I’m just not sure what to expect and I’m freaking out!! I just keep refreshing my activity center all day.

@momo1212 I got a call yesterday afternoon asking if I was still interested and then checked my portal randomly around 5 or 6 and it said congratulations
I also went to check my email and the email was in my promotions folder (gmail)

@angvin no but the thing is that I have tbe NROTC scholarship so I’m niy getting aid but when they called me they told me that the funds has been exhausted so that I would get little to no aid at this point which is not an issue for me because I practically have my college paid throuvh that scholarship. Sorry to bring bad news but hopefully there still is some money for institutional aid!

I most likely didn’t get in, but just wondering if anyone received an email regarding their waitlist decision? It’s almost July and I’m still waitlisted.
I’m in the same boat. its June 29th and I havent heard anything and the status still says “Waitlist”. Have you heard anything within the last couple days since youve posted this?
No I haven’t heard anything yet, but I emailed GW admissions, called my regional admission director, and called GW admissions and they all told me that we’ll know in the next couple of weeks.
@ryliu98 Hey! I feel the same way as you… And I’ve called and heard the exact same thing. I feel like at this point it’s a lost cause though. I mean… They said may 31. Then they told me by July. I really want to attend their university (as do you) but it’s very discouraging to wait this long. Did you hear any more specifics? I mean if they told me yes tomorrow I would enroll in a heartbeat!

@HappyFace2018 She seems to be liking it a lot. How about your D? She is in Potomac house and I thought the dorm and room were very nice and the move in was super easy with all the volunteers. I am still getting used to the fact there is not a central dining place but maybe when district house dining opens that will be similar.
