I have to take gym this year or next year (senior year). Right now, I have contemporary affairs but I can switch out for gym. The majority of my friends are in the gym class so it'd be better than taking it next year where I'll be stuck with the younger kids.

though this may be a silly question, will gym make my course load look bad? should I just keep contemporary affairs?

take gym but make sure it's either honors or AP gym. regular gym won't cut it for the good schools.

haha, alright. thanks

Beware of AP gym if you're out of shape, seriously.

This is just a funny, sort of on topic add-in, but my local university offers a PE class online to the high students. The majority of people I know are taking the online PE class.

But, yeah, you definitely need to look into AP Gym. It's a tough class and will look good for your upper tier schools. ;-)

Online gym? Legitimately? How does THAT work?

you run a virtual mile duh

You take a video of yourself doing 50 pushups.

Take gym now. Colleges understand that it's required.

Actually, in that online PE class, you are required to run one mile every week. The teacher can't verify that you have ran the mile, but I guess it works off of an honor system or something. Everyone I know who has taken the class never runs the required mile each week. That sort of reflects their health, you know, not running at least a freaking mile a week.
