I want to use this as a reference, to see if it can teach me something.

I just got a copy from my local library (barrons 2400 is still on hold).

So is this book helpful to you guys? What did you guys think of it?

Never really used the book. but my friend said it was a pretty useless book. Like it’s superbly EASY

But then again, she’s brilliant. So who knows?

I am not a genius, so I hope it works out lol

Also, i hope i am not dissapointed because I waited 3 whole days for this book to arrive in my library from my hold i put.

So far the book is pretty funny, I actually laughed, and smiled plenty of times. He definitely uses teen language to make it easy to read through, and more friendly to read. It actually made me want to read more and not stop.

But I seriously doubt that it helped me so far. I am still 1/3 of the way through CR section (first section), so I might not know yet. CR isn’t too helpable.

Let’s see in the math section later.

CR is definitely helpable :). Good luck on your 800 in CR!!

^ Thanks! Also did you read this book?

Also, I just finished the Critical Reading section, and I probably only learned 1 thing from it, which are the “strong use of words” which are “never, always etc”. Other then that, all the others are pretty much stuff I already knew…

Now the math section. I will start now.

Also, it seems the book is prettttty short.

What books have you used, nothingto?

And no, I haven’t used Hack the SAT. I don’t put much stock into books like that.

I have Dr Chung (didn’t finish, and I will hold it off till later), and BB. These are the ones I didn’t really try to use seriously yet.

I used plenty of books, but never really got to finish any due to their enormous size. What do you recommend?

Ok I finished the book (skipping it’s useless parts).

I give the book a 4/10

He tries to hard to be funny, and wastes CONSIDERABLE amount of pages talking about nothing at all. Only about 50 of the so 250 pages actually teach something. Yet those 50 pages are still useless.

Don’t get this book. I regret even putting time into this book.

His grammar rules are HORRIBLE.

I thought I had hit SAT gold because this was the first prep book I ever read. Boy was I wrong now that I think about it. I even had my parents photocopy sections lol.

Yeah, everything in this book is pretty basic. It’s maybe good for an intro to the SAT world; its not an intimidating book for sure.

It’s good to use as a secondary source. The author went in-depth on rate problems in the math section and that’s helped me so much. Other than that, everything else is pretty basic (and funny too).
