I was at my bookstore the other day and saw the Gruber's Guide to the New SAT 10th Edition mainly for the math portion and bought it because it was discounted. I was just wondering if it's still credible despite being kind of old-ish?

I haven't personally used it, but it's apparently the most comprehensive guide to the SAT math section you could possibly find.

well so far it's wonderful in that aspect. i just didn't know if an SAT book could really be outdated.

great math review...not good for anything else, though.
don't look at cr or w, it'll mess you up.

i know this has been stressed to infinite but..
NO ACRONYMS PLEASE!

math: grubers
reading: ?
writing:
vocab: direct hits + princeton review?

^ agree with your list and add Rocket Review to writing.

king, you need to chill.

I dont need the review .The math problems are really simple and i only do the practice questions. All the math rules and theorems that are involved in the SAT I problems are quite simple (At least for the Asian and European students) ,and everything we need to know is covered before grade 9.Sample questions only are completely enough for me.
I only need to familiarize with some English math terms like odd, integer, even & prime number :)
Everything except 800 will be a catastrophy as i hardly make a single mistake while practising.

haha ivan i would totally agree with you...i was reading the book and going..."canceling out? that's one of your magic theories? cut me a break..." (I promise not ALL Americans are as retarded as you guys think)

However, it is nice to see it in print, and the SAT can always throw you a curveball if you are proficient at school/normal math, cr, w. Gruber's is really a nicely put together book imho. And oldish? I haven't noticed any significant differences except the fact that the cover is uglier lol

well i have a whole year to prepare, so it won't be that hard.
plus, i really want a scholarship

It is ''give me a break '' :}

hahahaha actually where i live everyone says "cut me a break"
but en serio lmao
