Well although I am only in 8th grade, my goal in life is to attend West Point. I have been preparing for a few months already and have been keeping in top notch condition physically. Well, right now my hair is kind of long, I guess about 7 inches long, and was wondering if anyone would know if the people you interview along the way to get in West Point care if your hair is long. I mean it makes sense you should look good with short hair and stuff, but when I think of it, your going to have to buzz it all off in West Point either way, so I am trying to decide whether I should cut it or just keep it around the same length. If I can look pretty good and have a chance of getting in USMA, thats great, if I have to cut it to have a better chance of getting USMA, then that will have to do. I have seen so many pictures of R Day and noticed not really anyone had long hair, so I am just curious what I should do.
Thanks.

By the time you get to applying to WP you'll probably find hair styles have changed AGAIN and short hair will be all the rage (again). I wouldn't worry about it at 14.

ha, people come in with all kinds of hairstyles. i really wouldn't worry about it now. you have plenty of time. i guess just have a good apperance at the interview.

Okay thanks, haha, hair styles have been changing so much! In fact a lot of kids have been buzzing their heads.
