<p>Is the air conditioning in the Plazas really worth the extra money or will fans in the Residence Halls do just fine?</p>
<p>fans are fine. now that all the res halls are nice and renovated (except for dykstra but its closed), be happy you have AC in the hallways /lounge now</p>
<p>The only time fans weren’t enough was during the 110 degree heatwave. That was freaking miserable.</p>
<p>^^^ Oh my f’ing gawd. You have NO IDEA! Try living in Dykstra, in a room that faces south (ie, the direction of the SUN).</p>
<p>I was up for over 60 straight hours because the heat wouldn’t allow me to sleep. I had a fan, a trash bucket full of ice, and was only wearing some thin athletic shorts and I was sweating BALLS!</p>
