I am transfer applicant from Emory University. I am an international student and am transferring due to financial reasons. Therefore, I wanted to know:

How liberal Hamilton College was with their aid packages?

Why does Hamilton not have a core curriculum requirement and how does that benefit/harm students coming out of it?
3.Would it be a wise decision transferring to Hamilton, given the fact that I will manage to scrape enough money to pay my Emory tuition for 4 years? I am an Economics/Math and Buisness major. I have felt that my limited source of funding for college does not let me enjoy college the way I want to. In Atlanta, I cannot frequent the downtown eateries and bars. Also, I cannot truly immerse myself in a different culture than the one I come from, if I dont spend on what it has to offer.
Therefore, given the fact that a little compromise on school quality could give me a lot more freedom to enjoy college life, if I get aid from Hamilton, that is, would it be good thing to do?
