I’ve heard that Psychology and Environmental Science are the easiest to self study. Is that true? Should I do them? Or should I do Art history?

^I have also heard that those are easy APs. I would suggest studying those over Art History.

Ditto 10char

I self studied for the environmental science and got a 5. Not sure about psychology , but I can definitely say that e.s. was pretty easy- just used the PR book and the REA book.

From Easiest to hardest (out of the exams I’ve taken):
AP Government
AP US History
AP English Language
AP Chemistry

Though I still got a 5 in Chem, I felt like the exam this year was pretty easy compared to questions on past exams I saw.

all my tests were pretty easy and i got 5s on all of them
Easiest
Enviro
Bio
Physics C: E&M
Calc BC
Chem
Comp Sci (for some weird reason, i cant really write programs but can read code easily, so the MC was really easy and i got lucky on the FR, which was ok this year)
Physics C: Mech
Medium

i anticipate that APUSH and AP English (the one i take) and AP Spanish (if i take it) will be hard, the rest im gonna take like AP Econ, AP Stats, etc should be easy to medium

From my experience:

Easiest
Environmental Science
Human Geography
US History (only because of the essays)
Hardest

hardest: definitely ap art history

easiest: prbly ap calc or comp sci.

Easiest that I have taken was by far Psych. I put in less then 10 hours of study total and got a 5 (I also self-studied).

Hardest for me was AP English Language but I could not find good MC questions (Cliff and PR both suck for MC), so I felt I was going to do terribly (I ended up with a 5). Also writing three essays in 2 hours sucks, even though I was not time restrained.

I notice that a lot of people put AP US as a “hard test”, when I got a 5 in it. That just shows that this question’s response varies greatly. For me AP Chemistry was the hardest and AP US was the easiest. I took:

AP Spanish(5)
AP Lang&Comp(3)
AP Chemistry(3)
AP Calc AB(5)
Ap Calc BC(5)
AP Government (5)
AP Microeconomics(5)
AP Biology (5)
AP US (5)
AP Physics B(5)
AP Literature(3)

Chem is easiest

How did this end up in the science subforum?

^I’m wondering the same thing.
^^I doubt it. Most people actually say the opposite.

Yeah I know one of the people who took AP Chem last year, said it was the hardest test of his life.

You taking that test next year dylandlima?

For me Government was cake and calc AB was tough(even tho i squeezed thru with a 3!) Physics b was also easy for me

Easiest: Chinese (Native Speaker who hasn’t spoken or written in six years), Human Geography
Easy: AP Psych, AP Comparative Government, AP European History
Moderate: AP US History

Those are the ones I’ve taken anyway, and I haven’t encountered any hard AP tests. The general consensus seems to be that Physics C E/M is the hardest. AP Calc BC varies based on whom you ask. AP Lang is generally considered to be easy, AP Lit very hard, AP Econ varies, Comp Sci easy.

Easiest: Bio (The class taught me the true meaning of pain, but the exam was a cakewalk.)
Hardest: Probably APUSH.

So far I’ve only taken Calc AB, APUSH, and Eng Lang, and I thought they were also pretty easy, but Calc AB is by far the easiest, especially the multiple choice.

Depends on the type of student you are. If your a math freak like me:

Easiest- AP Calc, AP Stat
Hardest- AP Lit, History
